EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Jan. 27, 2026) – U.S. News & World Report’s new Best Online Programs 2026 rankings, released today, recognize nine North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University degree programs among the top 50 in the United States.
North Carolina A&T MBA programs in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics experienced the strongest upward movement in this year’s lists. The Online MBA Program for Veterans moved up 12 slots to a tie at No. 30, while the Online MBA Program overall jumped 22 slots to a tie for No. 50.
This adds further shine to the Deese College’s overall MBA program, which has been recognized among America’s top 100 for the past five years in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Graduate Schools rankings.
A&T’s highly regarded Online M.S. in Information Technology moved up one slot to a tie at No. 9 nationally, while the Online M.S. in Information Technology for Veterans remained steady at No. 6. The programs are part of the College of Science and Technology.
A&T’s Online Bachelor’s Programs Overall remained in the nation’s top 50 at a tie for No. 48, while Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans tied at No. 25.
In the College of Education, Online Graduate Education Programs for Veterans rounded out A&T’s appearance in Top 50 rankings with a tie at No. 40. Online Graduate Education Programs Overall came in at a tie at No. 133.
Finally, Online Bachelor’s Degree Business Programs tied at No. 111 nationally.
Online programs at A&T have grown exponentially over the past decade. A&T Extended Campus makes the university’s online degree programs available via A&T Online, where students can find nearly 25 undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs offered entirely online.
Some programs are offered with multiple options for specialty, such as the M.A. in teaching, which features 12 online concentrations.
