TSgt Iliyaas Yazid

Biography

Technical Sergeant Iliyaas Yazid serves as the NCOIC of Personnel to Air Education and
Training Command (AETC), at North Carolina Agriculture & Technology University. In this
role, he is responsible for processing college students qualified for service in the United States
Air Force and United States Space Force throughout the cadet life-cycle that typically spans the
entire four years of pursuing their undergraduate degree.
TSgt Yazid entered the Air Force on 11 January 2011 and began his career in Aerospace
Propulsion. Throughout his career, he has held positions in maintenance, customer support,
career development, force management, personnel operations, and recruiting. His diverse
background includes assignments supporting personnel programs, force management initiatives,
customer support operations, and accession recruiting efforts.
Prior to his current assignment, TSgt Yazid served in multiple personnel and force support
positions, developing expertise in career management, personnel and deployment readiness,
customer support, and force management programs. His broad experience across operational and
support organizations has contributed to mission accomplishment at installations throughout the
Air Force.
