Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers Program
Every student deserves access to a better future. That’s why we’ve partnered with Verizon to offer the Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers program at North Carolina A&T State University – an engaging, hands-on program developed to enrich learning through design thinking, 3D printing, augmented reality, social entrepreneurship and mentorship. This program works with middle school students in under-resourced communities to create a more diverse pipeline for future professionals in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields; no prior specialized knowledge or experience is required.
Summer 2026 Program:
The 2026 Verizon Innovative Learning STEM Achievers summer program offers a 3-week session for middle school boys (June 15–26 and July 6–10; note that the program will not meet the week of June 29–July 3) and a 3-week session for middle school girls (July 13–31). The sessions meet from 8:00am–3:00pm each day.
