University Real Estate Portfolio Management

The Real Property unit oversees all North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University real estate activities and is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing N.C. A&T’s real property goals in alignment with the Campus Master Plan. The unit plays a key role in supporting the University’s academic mission and long-term growth through the strategic management and stewardship of real estate assets.

By ensuring the effective use of land and facilities, Real Property supports campus operations, future development, and departmental space needs.

Mission

To strategically manage the University’s real estate portfolio in support of institutional priorities, student success, and responsible campus growth, while aligning all activities with the Campus Master Plan and applicable policies.

Core Services

Managing the acquisition and disposition of real property to support University priorities while ensuring compliance with state regulations and University policies.

Overseeing off-campus leasing to meet academic, administrative, and operational space needs through coordinated negotiations and renewals.

Managing easements and user agreements to support utilities, access, and partnerships while protecting University interests.

Aligning real estate decisions with the Campus Master Plan to support sustainable growth and long-term stewardship of University assets.
