The John R. and Kathy R. Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences is the largest academic college at North Carolina A&T, with numerous educational and career paths to help you reach your goal and have a positive impact on the lives of others. Our graduates become clinical healthcare professionals, working in direct patient as well as other professionals that improve their communities and enhance the world we live in.

The Hairston College offers 7 bachelor’s degrees, 3 masters degrees, and 3 doctoral degrees. Clinical degree programs include the B.S. in Nursing (BSN), M.S. in Social Work (MSW), M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) with concentrations in nursing leadership and mental health, or psychiatry.
