Department of Biology

Welcome to the Department of Biology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. The Department of Biology provides degree programs at the undergraduate level and graduate level, including masters degree programs within the department and primary involvements with the college-level Applied Science and Technology (AST) Ph.D. program.

Undergraduate Studies

There are three tracks through the undergraduate biology curriculum. Official curriculum guides for undergraduate majors in the biology department are available from the Department of Biology section in the N.C. A&T Undergraduate Bulletin.

Biology - Bachelor of Science

For students seeking undergraduate studies relating to K-12 teaching careers in areas such as secondary education biology, these opportunities are available through the College of Education.

Opportunities and Programs for Students

The Department of Biology promotes numerous programs and activities for students to guide their academic studies and career interests.
